Angelina's was established in October 1986. She started out in a small 10-table restaurant in Eastvale. After a successful year, she moved to a larger restaurant on South Colony Blvd. The following year she expanded to twice her occupancy load. In 1993, Angelina and her brother, Francisco, were in the midst of opening a joint venture in Dallas. Unfortunately, Francisco passed away before this dream could be realized. In memory of him, in 1999, Angelina's Don Francisco's was established, overlooking Lake Lewisville, her dream location. In 2012, Angelina was diagnosed with liver cancer. On May 7, 2013, she lost her battle. We here at Angelina's Don Francisco's strive to carry her dream though, offering the best quality Tex-Mex and customer care that we know she would insist on.
Not sure why it took us so long to stop in, but we have been returning customers since. Food is delicious. Service always prompt and friendly. We have always been sat right away no matter what time or day. Food is delicious. The music they play is amazing. Patio is enclosed and cool. Def check them out. For my kids, the split the beef fajitas for one...
Great food and awesome service. Authentic good delicious fajitas and bacon shrimp. The Angelinas shrimp are amazing and huge.
I drove by this place several times and finally, my coworkers and I decided to have dinner here. In my experience, everything was good! I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered the tortilla soup. It was delicious. My coworkers ordered their dishes and they finished it. We cleared our plates. Their complimentary chips and salsa were authentic and delicious, partially what filled me up too...
This is my husbands go to Mexican food restaurant since he was a kid. His favorite thing to this day is the queso and the tortillas. The tortillas are made on sight, which is a plus cause they're sooo good and they queso is delicious for dipping chips and/or adding to your main dish...
An amazing family owned restaurant, this is our go to spot for consistent service. We love the patio overlooking the lake. They have an enclosed patio part that is fantastic for parties. The people that work and go here could not be nicer. The food is very consistent. Favorites are the menudo, shrimp Lorena, mama's tacos, tacos al carbon, and what we call the B & B special for brunch. (Ribeye, eggs, potatoes)
